These large, five-petal flowers grow to 4” in diameter and feature a showy center of stamens. ‘Aphrodite’ is deciduous and grows smaller than the species, usually reaching 8’ in height. Its lush green foliage is as large as its flowers, growing 4” long. For best results, plant ‘Aphrodite’ is full sun to part shade and provide regular water and good drainage. May be susceptible to leaf spots and rusts. Use Hibiscus syriacus ‘Aphrodite’ as a screen, border or specimen foundation plant.
